Impressions of the Gamification EXPO 2024

Our gamification research group provided insights into ongoing gamification projects in research and teaching on July 8, 2024, as part of the Gamification Expo 2024.

Exciting collaborations were presented, such as with adidas on gamification in football and running, or with the University Hospital Erlangen on games for education about chronic inflammatory diseases. Additionally, new game-based prototypes for a STABILO DigiPen were showcased, an exergame developed with the Schön Klinik München, and an insight into research on in-car gaming and gameful content creation at CARIAD SE.

A special guest, Tobias Gotthardt, Secretary of State at the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy, was invited.
