Hello FAU!
Today starts an exciting new chapter of my professional career. I left Daimler AG to take up an appointment as assistant professor of information systems at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU).
I would like to take the opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to everyone that supported me on this journey: family-members, colleagues, mentors, co-authors, friends, students …
Further, my thanks go to Daimler AG and my (former) Daimler colleagues for the wonderful 3 years in the automotive industry. I am grateful to have had the chance to work with so many visionary, smart and inspiring people, to turn my ideas about the future of online car sales into reality, conduct innovative research and shape the digital channels of Mercedes-Benz, smart and Mercedes-Benz EQ. The last 3 years have been a unique personal experience and a great time that will remain unforgettable.
At the same time, I feel honored to be a fresh member of the FAU and would also like to thank the new colleagues and Adidas AG who made this opportunity possible. With excitement, I’m looking forward on the adventure of building up a chair on information systems, with a specific focus on Gamification and human-computer interaction research in Nürnberg.
